The rhetorical situation from my literacy narrative and the ad analysis have a lot of differences. The audience for my literacy narrative was for pretty much anyone and any age. The audience for my ad analysis is mostly men of any age and younger women. The purpose of the literacy narrative was to tell a story about a writing or reading experience I had, good or bad. The purpose for the ad analysis is to pick apart and dissect the hidden messages in the ad of my choice. However, the tone for both essays are pretty similar. In my opinion, the tone is very laid back and easy going for both essays.
My writing strategy will be very different than that of my literacy narrative. For the ad analysis, I really need to dissect and pick apart the ad. I will need to support evidence with my claims and be very detailed.
